This handout provides you with a screen test to see what your alcohol usage is. This screener is designed to create an awareness of your relationship to alcohol and for no other purposes.

This screen test will help to:  
self-rate yourself to determine your actual use of alcohol
allow your partner to assess you from an external standpoint    
 
Both partners in the relationship are expected to complete this screen test on each  other and  on themselves.  In other words: Do the screener twice using the same sheet of paper using different colour pens.
